1. Product Disclaimer
At Orianson, we create handcrafted furniture and home décor made from natural materials and recycled timbers. Each piece is carefully made by artisans, which means variations in colour, grain, texture, and shape are part of its natural beauty — not considered defects.
Products made from banana leaf fibre or natural rattan may display variations in tone, including shades of black, green, and brown. Natural timber can also feature cracks, knots, and leaching of natural oils over time. These characteristics are a sign of authenticity and craftsmanship.
Please note: oil leaching may cause surface stains on items that come into contact with timber. Orianson cannot be held responsible for such occurrences.
Because every monitor displays colours differently, product images on our website and social media are for illustrative purposes only and may vary slightly from the actual item received.
2. Payments
Full payment must be received before any order is dispatched.
Placing an order confirms that all details, including item codes and descriptions, are correct.
A 50% deposit is required to secure all forward or pre-orders held for longer than one week. Once a deposit is paid, no refunds or cancellations will be accepted for change of mind.
We accept Direct Deposit and Credit Card payments.
3. Pricing
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are subject to change without prior notice.
Prices exclude delivery fees unless otherwise stated. Taxes, duties, or additional freight costs may apply for remote or international locations.
4. Custom Orders
Custom and made-to-order furniture requires a 50% deposit to commence production.
Please ensure that all specifications and design details are correct prior to confirmation.
Orianson is not liable for delays caused by late payments or changes requested after production has begun.
Custom and made-to-order products are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged once production has started.
5. Backorders
A 50% deposit is required to secure stock on backorder. If payment is delayed and the stock sells out, the order will automatically move to the next shipment. Orianson cannot guarantee stock availability without a paid deposit.
6. Production & Lead Times
Because Orianson specialises in handcrafted and made-to-order furniture, production times can vary depending on design complexity, materials, and current demand.
Estimated lead times range from 8 to 14 weeks, plus shipping time.
While we always strive to meet quoted delivery dates, delays can occasionally occur due to shipping schedules, customs clearance, or material availability.
Delays do not constitute a breach of contract, and no cancellations or refunds will be issued due to lead-time changes. Orianson will communicate updates whenever possible.
7. Delivery & Shipping
Orders are dispatched once final payment has been received and your item is ready for shipment.
Orianson offers Australia-wide delivery and can assist in arranging transport through trusted freight partners. Freight charges will be added to your invoice.
Customers will receive tracking details once their order has been shipped. We recommend selecting “Authority to Leave” to avoid redelivery charges if no one is available to receive the delivery.
All deliveries are subject to stock availability and shipping schedules. Please contact info@orianson.com.au for current lead times and freight quotes.
8. Customer Collection & Storage
Customers may collect orders directly from our warehouse by appointment.
If collection is delayed, we offer 14 days of free storage from the date you are notified that your order is ready.
After 14 days, a storage fee of $15 per cubic metre (m³) per week (minimum 1 m³) will apply.
Orders uncollected or unpaid after four (4) weeks may be automatically cancelled and stock reallocated.
9. Damages in Transit
All products are carefully inspected before dispatch. Upon receiving your delivery, please inspect your order immediately and note any visible damage on the delivery paperwork.
Any damage or issue must be reported to Orianson within 48 hours of receipt.
Please include clear photos of the product, packaging, and shipping labels to assist with your claim.
Orianson is not a freight carrier and cannot be held responsible for damages caused during transport; however, we will assist with insurance claims, repairs, or replacements where possible.
Claims made after 48 hours of delivery cannot be processed.
10. Faulty Products
If a product is faulty, damaged, or significantly different from what was described, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order.
Our team may request photos or videos to assess the issue.
Faulty products must be returned in their original packaging within seven (7) days, unassembled and with all parts and accessories included.
After inspection, Orianson may offer a repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion, in line with Australian Consumer Law.
11. Returns & Refunds
Orianson does not accept returns for change of mind or incorrect choice.
Returns are only approved in cases of faulty or damaged items, subject to prior authorisation.
If a return is approved, a 15% restocking fee may apply.
All items must be returned in original condition and packaging using an Orianson-approved courier.
Orianson cannot be held liable for damage caused by third-party couriers not approved by us.
12. Exchanges
Exchanges are not available for change-of-mind purchases.
In special circumstances, Orianson may authorise an exchange at our discretion.
Additional freight charges will apply for any exchanged products.
13. Cancelling an Order
If you wish to cancel an order, please notify us as soon as possible.
If production or dispatch has not yet begun, we can issue a credit note or partial refund.
Once your order has entered production or been dispatched, our standard returns policy applies, and all delivery fees are non-refundable.
14. Limited Warranty
Orianson offers a 12-month limited warranty from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing defects under normal residential use.
This warranty does not cover wear and tear, natural ageing, colour changes, environmental damage, or misuse.
Warranty claims must be supported with proof of purchase and photographs.
